Welcome back to linux.wauug.org

If you ran Linux anywhere near Washington, D.C. in the 1990s, there is a good chance some of your bits passed through this machine. linux.wauug.org, once wauug.erols.com, was the shared server of the East Coast US Linux user groups: a user-group directory, the DC LUG home page, installfest notices, kernel upgrade notes, and daily mirrors of sunsite and tsx-11.

We have brought it back as a faithful archive. The DC LUG page is here in full, meeting history and all, along with the user-group directory, the installfest story and the mirrors and archives. The Tux graphics are recreations, because the originals were never saved, but everything else is as it was.

This News & Notes section is where we will post meeting write-ups, kernel notes and the odd bit of Linux history. Welcome back.
